One powder.
Six ways to drink it.
A frappe, a coffee latte, and one universal cold foam that turns into three more drinks. Hydrate the powder first, and the rest is easy.
Hydrate the powder first
Every recipe in this collection starts the same way: mix the ube powder with a little warm liquid — water or milk — until completely smooth and lump-free, before it touches anything cold. That's the whole secret to a silky drink.
Additional Tips
Mix ube powder with a little warm liquid first for the smoothest texture.
For the best flavour, gently stir the drink after adding the cold foam.
Prefer a sweeter drink? Add an extra teaspoon of simple syrup or condensed milk.
The Ube Ratio Card
Once you know the ratios, you don't need a recipe. This is the whole product in one card — how much ube for a drink, a bake, or a scoop.
One teaspoon (2.5 g) per 200 ml of liquid. Classic latte strength — clearly purple, gently nutty.
Cold and ice dull both colour and flavour. Go up half a spoon for shakes and slushes.
About 5–8% of your flour weight. Add 1 tbsp extra liquid per tbsp of ube — it drinks moisture.
Bloom in a little warm liquid first, then fold in. Never add dry powder to a cold base.
